About Charlie Pitts, Jr.

This is the homepage for Charlie Pitts, Jr.

I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005 with a BBA in Management Information Systems (MIS). After graduating, I was hired by Aflac as an intern and worked my way up to Application Developer. At Aflac, I have programmed in several different platforms including, C#, Java, IBM Business Process Manager (BPM), webMethods Integration Server (IS), SQL Server and Oracle. I obtained my MBA from Columbus State University. After eight years, I left Aflac to pursue a Master of Science in MIS at Florida State University.

Currently, I am a Business Application Analyst at the Division of Rehabilitation and Liquidation, Florida Department of Financial Services. As an Application Developer and Business Application Analyst, I have experience in using research (document analysis, interviews, financial analysis), as-is and to-be process modeling, and project scoping to ensure that projects start strong.

To help projects stay on track, I take an active role in stakeholder management, requirements management, and communication (through facilitation and presentations).

During the last phase of a project, I assist in testing, elevation documentation, and lesson learned facilitation.

I am interested in learning more about data analysis, agile development as a product owner, and business rules.

I am always available to listen to new opportunities where I can make a substantial, positive impact.
